The Sales Engineer is the initial technical resource for the Internal & External Sales and is responsible for actively driving and managing the stage of the sales process.
The role operates as a bridge between Customers and Technical/Engineering requirements, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of HVAC product main Commercial Air Conditioner. (Single Split and VRF systems).
The main focus of the role is the preparation of accurate product/project estimates whilst communicating requirements with customers and internal departments. The Sales Engineer must be able to identify and provide reliable solutions for all HVAC Application issues, to assure complete customer satisfaction through all stages of the sales process.

2. Description of duties
Key Accountabilities and Objectives Work with the External & inside Sales teams to meet and where possible exceed the customer’s requirements/expectations, which includes:
• Maintain expert level of product knowledge and applications.
• Articulate product positioning to sales and external Customers, including Competitor substitutions.
• Production of quotations for customers in a clear, detailed and accurate manner.
• Providing and assisting colleagues on engineering issues, not limited to CAD drafting, preparing BOQ, Specification review and Compliance, Equipment’s selection according to Standards, etc…
• Negotiating and achieving deadlines for the submission of quotations.
• Building relationships with Mechanical Consultants / Engineers and potential customers to understand their Requirements, and offer all necessary support.
• Planning job timescales.
• Assessing the levels of risk on a project.
• Design the HVAC system as per the requirements mentioned in the proposal through various stages. Develop shop works shop drawings for onsite execution via CAD and Auto fluid software.
• Helping with bids for new contracts and supporting buying activities.
• Maintain accurate records of target accounts, opportunities, quotes, projects, contacts and correspondence in company databases.
• Communicating with customers to gain feedback on quotations.
• Establish cost estimates of production processes and tooling costs and review alternatives or put forward recommendations for improvement.
• Monitoring the financial stages of a project to make sure that payment / collection is kept in line with contract payment terms.
• Investigate and identify cost reduction opportunities through various VAC design analysis.
• Achieving relevant targets and KPI's.
• Adopt a flexible approach to workload and assume new responsibilities where appropriate.

3. Communication

• Communicate clearly and confidently with customers.
• Seeking new clients who might benefit from company products or services and maximizing client potential in designated regions.
• Liaise with stakeholders and support management decisions by providing appropriate cost information and data.
• Liaise with purchasing department to provide continued feedback to ensure competitive pricing.
• Engages interest and participation of others and has a collaborative approach to working with others.
• Ensure that effective and regular communication takes place between peers and individuals.
• Promote and endorse the company culture and identity.

4. General Responsibilities
